Position: TA 2a

Term: Fixed term minimum variable hours contract 1st September 2019 – 31st August 2020

Salary: P4-6  (18426 – 19171)

Hours: Various (20 hours in the first instance)

Essential Qualifications: NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post

(or equivalent). 

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
 

We require a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support within the EYFS classroom. The candidate will demonstrate effective support for teaching and learning, understanding sensory needs and supporting speech, language and communication. 

They will contribute to providing a creative learning environment which both promotes and celebrates children's learning. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate a love and passion for working with children, patience, humour and creativity. 

We are looking for someone who has high expectations of themselves and of others, will demonstrate professional conduct at all times and have the ability to contribute positively to an effective team. The successful candidate will work well with external agencies to ensure personalised provision is effective. 

 

Essential Qualifications: English and Maths

Desirable Qualifications: Further education qualifications (eg. Degree)

Essential Experience: Experience of working in Key Stage 1
