Which drinks cause the most tooth decay?
In Kingfisher class, we have been testing which drinks cause the most tooth decay using: hard boiled eggs, water, energy drink, cordial, milk, coke and fresh fruit juice. We will update you with our findings soon.
We've had a great week, this week, during Science week. We've enjoyed some exciting 'science' assemblies and done lots of science in class, learning about the digestive system. We were very lucky to have a parent visitor in school carrying out some experiments using smarties and skittles! Please take a look at the pictures below....
STEM WEEK
Manchester Airport
Despite the extremely cold weather, we had an absolutely fantastic time on our trip on Monday. The behaviour of the children was, as expected, super and both guides complemented us on how they behaved, interacted and listened throughout. A slideshow of pictures will be put together and shown at the Parent Pop-in which is on Friday 9th March form 1-2pm. During the pop-in we will also share some work we have completed following this brilliant trip.
EGGciting, mysterious egg found
A few weeks ago, a mysterious egg was found in Kingfisher Class....we are still looking after the egg and nothing has hatched yet! We have spread the news about this egg, in and around school, with our EGGmazing newspaper reports. Please keep a look out for any other mysterious goings on....
