Welcome

Welcome to Adlington Primary School.

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our website and find out more about our wonderful school. Our motto 'Aspire, Persevere, Succeed' is embedded in all that we do at our school and ensures that our children get off to a flying start in life.

Set in the heart of Adlington, our smaller size enables us to get to know our pupils and families very well, developing strong partnerships that work for the benefit of our children.  In partnership with our Governors and parents, our dedicated staff work hard to provide learning opportunities that promote the highest possible standards.

We work at all times to ensure that we are a fully inclusive school, providing the highest quality of education for all of our children. We know that children who are happy at school and feel safe and secure will thrive and our staff work hard to ensure this.

Our innovative curriculum is rich, stimulating and exciting and challenges our children, ensuring that they grow up to be  thoughtful, caring and responsible individuals with a lively enquiring mind and prepared for life in modern society. A wide variety of extra- curriculuar visits are offered to all of our children and specialists are invited into school to work with our children on a regular basis. Our children also have the opportunity to undertake class music lessons delivered by the Lancashire Music Service. We believe that it is opportunities such as these that really enhance our children's learning and development.

Our school has been judged by Ofsted to be good in all areas and our fantastic early years provision has been highly praised by Lancashire and Ofsted and awarded the national 'Early Years' quality mark .In addition, we hold a variety of national accreditation in recognition of our our high quality curriculum and provision including the Primary Science Quality Mark (Silver), School Sports Award (gold) and Investors in People award.

We hope that our website captures the spirit and ethos of our school and is informative for our visitors. However, the best way to find out more is to come and see for yourselves. I would love to show you around and share with you the exciting things that we do here!

Kind Regards,
