What a fantastic end to the first half term in School. The children worked really hard during Spooky Week and we created lots of different things.
In English we read Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson. The children looked at rhyme used within the book, and made up their own sentences using rhyming words. We also wrote our own magic spells and potions, some of which were disgusting!
We looked at shape in Maths and the children made some great shape witches in the Creative Area!
Each afternoon we created something different from cotton bud skeletons to Halloween biscuits.
My favourite part of the week was when the children made Frankenstein footprints, we couldn't stop laughing!
