Look what we've been learning

Science was fun today. Heron Class were exploring the school grounds to find mini-beasts and their habitats

We had a special guest visiting us in our English lesson, today - Rowley the dog! We were looking and listening at how Rowley moves around the playground whilst he’s having fun finding his favourite toy - a ball!

Heron Class have been tuning into Jane Considine’s live writing lessons this term. They’re having lots of fun learning how to write exciting and engaging stories. The children’s vocabulary and sentence structures are looking fabulous!

Star of the Week Award - A little treat from Fredericks Ice Cream!

Year 6 Summer Maths Project - Designing a Greek Theme Park

In English, we are using the book ‘Street Child’ to learn how to write about characters emotions, thoughts and actions. We used an activity called ‘freeze framing’ to catch the actions, emotions of the characters from the book.
