Clitheroe Castle!
Clitheroe Castle is a ruined early medieval castle in Clitheroe in Lancashire, England. Children got to explore the history of the castle and work with experts looking at the history of Battle of Hastings.
Turbary Woods Owl and Bird Sanctuary!
Turbary Woods Rescue and rehabilitation center offers a unique collection of over 90 birds of prey including eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, vultures and more unusual species.
Smithills Farm Trip!
We had a fantastic trip to Smithills Farm, this supported our learning in science. We met lots of different animals, and saw them with their young. We were able to pet some animals, ride a donkey and even go on a tractor ride! After lunch we were shown how to milk the cows using a very special machine!
