Local History

Kestrel Class has learnt about the school site dating from 1839 and the children who attended. Children have used primary sources of evidence to learn about school life such as photos, building plans and logbook entries. 

 

 

 

 

Children learnt about Victorian lessons. When reading our school inspection report from 1846, we discussed why children only attended school for half a day.
