Happy New Year! We hope that you have had a lovely Christmas holiday.
The children have settled back into school brilliantly and have been producing some excellent work. Myself and Mrs Adams have been so impressed with the children's attitude to learning since they have come back. Well done Swallows!
In phonics the children have been practising their blending and we have begun to learn new spellings for sounds that we already know.
On Tuesday 10th January we received an envelope in our register labelled 'Clue One'. We were all very confused and didn't know where the envelope had come from. Our job was to follow the clues around school, the children were very excited and predicted what we might find. Eventually we came clue six that led us outside. Outside we found footprints leading to a.....penguin! We made predictions as to why the penguin was in our school and how it had got there!
