Look what we've been learning

Anyone for pizza? Heron Class have designed their own special pizza for their new restaurant they have created! The pizzas went down a treat!

Bag of Life - Children from Heron Class sharing items from home that they treasure the most! They really enjoy sharing their memories and items with their friends.

BRITISH SCIENCE WEEK - Heron class had a great week learning lots about farming, keeping fit and healthy and eating well. They also have designed their own healthy restaurant.

BOOK WEEK - Heron Class had a great week. They listened to some inspiring authors on Zoom, shared their own favourite books and created their own stories. Well done Heron Class, you have done a great job!

Science was fun today. Heron Class were exploring the school grounds to find mini-beasts and their habitats

We had a special guest visiting us in our English lesson, today - Rowley the dog! We were looking and listening at how Rowley moves around the playground whilst he’s having fun finding his favourite toy - a ball!

Heron Class have been tuning into Jane Considine’s live writing lessons this term. They’re having lots of fun learning how to write exciting and engaging stories. The children’s vocabulary and sentence structures are looking fabulous!

Year 6 Summer Maths Project - Designing a Greek Theme Park

In English, we are using the book ‘Street Child’ to learn how to write about characters emotions, thoughts and actions. We used an activity called ‘freeze framing’ to catch the actions, emotions of the characters from the book.
