Book Week 2021
We had a really fun Book Week to celebrate World Book Day. We had a very special zoom session with children’s author Natalie Prichard. Natalie read us her story, “Daisy the Dolphin,” and answered some of our super questions about her stories and what it is like being an author. The session with Natalie was very inspiring and some of us wanted to be authors and write our own stories in the messaging centre! We also had great fun doing the Sea School Shuffle song with Natalie!
Throughout the week we enjoyed listening to many stories and sharing our own favourite stories with each other in school and on zoom. We enjoyed looking at new books and magazines in our reading area and also making our own bookmarks to use when we are reading at home.
