MFL Week
WC 29th January
This week has been MFL week in school, the children visited different countries to learn some of the language and take part in activities. The children visited Spain, France, Germany and Turkey! As an extra special treat we had visitors to our class to help us learn the different languages. On Monday, Mrs Black from Holy Cross visited us and taught us some Spanish, we learnt greetings, numbers to 10 and colours! On Tuesday Denis visited us and he taught us some Turkish, we found Turkish much trickier than English and Spanish! Maria visited us on Wednesday and she taught us family members in Spanish and the children played some games. Mrs Hodgkinson is visiting us on Friday to teach us even more Spanish! We would like to say a BIG thank-you to all visitors to our school for helping us and taking their time to come. The children have worked very hard during MFL week and have learnt lots, maybe they could share with you what they have learnt?
