Fire! Fire!
This half term (Autumn 2) our topic has been Fire! Fire! We have learnt all about The Great Fire of London, the children have really enjoyed getting into character in our fire station.
The children have experimented using oil pastels and drawn some lovely pictures of the Great Fire of London. They have also created houses in the style of those in 1666 and created a display.
We have also learnt London's burning and are beginning to sing it in a round.
The children have worked really hard writing their own fire poems, they learnt all about verbs and onomatopoeia. Take a look at a few of them.
