Friendship Week
This week we have been looking at stories based upon Friendship. We have been looking at the story Lost and Found, Elmer and The Rainbow Fish. We have been talking about the qualities of a 'good friend' and how we can all be a good friend to one another. We made a class 'recipe for friendship' where all the children contributed to what they felt made a good friend and each children made their own individual ones about what a good friend means to them. We used the story Elmer to talk being unique and not changing to fit into a group. We used milk bottles to make our own Elmer's and decorated with tissue paper. Each child made a friendship bracelet to give to a special friend.
