Adlington Primary School is a small, successful school situated in the semi-rural village of Adlington.

Our school has a warm and welcoming feel and we value the strong relationships that we have with our families and the local community. It is a happy place to work and our committed staff team work closely together to ensure the very best outcomes for our children. We have high expectations of both our children and ourselves.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, conscientious and  have a willingness to foster a culture of continuous improvement. They will be an effective team member with strong, positive communication skills.

It is important that they have experience of working in a primary school office and are able to work independently, exercising independent judgement with the direction of the Headteacher.

In our small village school it will be essential that our Business Support Officer plays a key role in school life and be proactive in developing excellent relationships with our children, families and staff. They will often be the first point of contact for our families and visitors and so will need to have a professional approach underpinned by a warm and caring nature.

Our school places great importance upon high quality professional development opportunities for all staff and hold the Investors in People award. There will be regular opportunities for our Business Support Officer to access these opportunities and develop professionally.
